If you are a cheerleader between the ages of 11 and 18, you won’t want to miss this experience.  Cheer Fit Clinics will focus on new and innovative training techniques for squads and individuals.  It will include stunt training, techniques to improve jumps, nutrition for youth and teenage athletes, injury prevention, team building and more.  Improve your fitness level and cheerleading skills with this fun and exciting clinic run by Katie Uter, Ms. Fitness Universe and her teammates.  Katie and several other members have years of experience in cheerleading, choreography, personal training, and fitness competition. All of the proceeds will go towards travel expenses for upcoming national and international fitness competitions Fitness Explosion Team members will be participating in.

Session Descriptions:

 

I.      Functional Cheer Fit Training: Learn great training and practice techniques for squads and individuals.  This session will include a fun and innovative practice format to improve stunts and strength needed for flyers and lifters. This session will also include some team building exercises.

 

II.     Jump to Core: Learn exercises and practice techniques to improve jumps and cheer technique.  Fun and exciting elements to add to you or your squad’s training to improve core and stability techniques, which can help improve jumps and reduce your risk of injury.

 

III.   Healthy Living for the Cheer Fit: Learn proper nutrition tips and information for youth and teenage athletes.  Learn the importance of balanced training, how to prevent injuries, and how proper nutrition can improve your cheerleading skill level.
